It is important that all website owners remain in control of their own domain name. If you are, then you can feel confident that if ever a problem arises with your hosting service, web developer or any other internet assistance -- YOU can easily and quickly redirect your address to new providers. It does not even require any cooperation from the previous provider whatsoever.
In others words when you are in control and someone doesnt perform, they are easily replaced. This is a critical concept for those feeling uneasy about outsourcing. When you taking the proper precautions, YOU ARE SAFE.
How does website management work?
Typically we establish a whiteboard area on an off-line server.
We create/redesigned the site in optimized HTML. We also quote a monthly management fee for the proposed site.
We send you links to pages showing the new structures for your approval and feedback. You can then share these links with you associates, adding in your own commentary.
Once the new design is refined and approved, the entire old site is converted into the new format.
On completion, we launch the new site on its existing host, or ours. (We lease a commercial grade server from Aplus.Net where your site will be protected by numerous redundancies).
Anyone from your team or your associates can email us materials directly.
Any updates are completed off-line and submitted back to your established website contact for approval.
Approved pages are posted live.
We are happy to take input from almost any software -- via email or ftp -- phone and fax input also accepted.
