We understand your comfort and security is of the highest priority. This is your site. Your domain. Our methodologies comply to the highest standards and never leave your web presence at risk. Our services require no access to your FTP or other security sensitive resources. We can work with your hosting company or we can provide hosting. All of work is presented and approved before any payment is required. It is always your exclusive and legal right to switch website providers at any time.
Cost.
There is NO CHARGE for the creation/migration of the site. Typically design and development will cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Your site will be tailored with your text, your pictures, your maps, your logo but without billable hours, retainer fees, design fees, consultant fees, etc. Instead you pay only a small licensing/management fee each month. We specifically waive the development fees as our way of promoting services to new clients.
Full service.
We offer human based service -- like an expert staff member always available but paid only a sliver of a salary. Anyone in your organization can manage the site -- you instruct, we deliver. There is no software to buy, no "systems" to learn, no wizards, no "we make it easy to maintain a website yourself".
Integrity.
Your web address, your domain is yours and yours alone. The domain name, the content and even our work -- is always in your custody. The site can reside at your local hosting company or we can place the site on one of several leading U.S. hosts.
Terms, Credit & The Commitment.
Often low priced monthly billed services require credit cards, credit history, term commitment, etc. Not here. This is a prepaid service billed quarterly. We can actually invoice you! We do not require any personal information, additional deposit and certainly not a credit card and/or credit references. There is no long term commitment. We are confident in our abilities to keep your business on merit!
Going it alone.
Why spend time OR money to reinvent the wheel alone? Our web service center is already managing hundreds of web pages. By pooling our expertise, our resources and our staff we are able to offer each client a very low monthly cost. Those taking on the tasks themselves are not only prone to make costly mistakes, but are unlikely to beat the power of leverage. The result, spend more money for inferior results.
On your mark, get set, gather.
Gathering and creating content is no small task. No matter what web solution you choose, someone will be creating or gathering a lot of text and pictures. If you do it yourself, be prepared to invest a major block of time. If you allow your web design provider to do it, be prepared to spend a major block of cash. For most sites we provide sample content you can modify rather than creating from scratch.
No build and dump.
Most web designers will offer you post-development services, but your initial costs are for "one delivered" website. Once your provider has delivered that site then "it's all yours". What will you do to maintain it? Typically you will need to re-hire your original design team for about $90 an hour. Ouch, that's going to add up over the life of the site. What we do is spread what we believe a reasonable development cost and spread it over 12-18 months. We continue to help you launch and polish your site for that long, because we know from experience that's what it takes to run a smooth, meaningful site. Our payment structure ensures you will get the on-going service from us you hope for and its helps us take the shock out of your development cost. (Ironically, most developers will try to sell you the "development package" and the "maintenance".)
Selling vs. Advising.
Originally our services we established, not as profit our experience comes not "selling technology" to others but instead from "buying technology" on behalf of others. We make money by intelligently allocating small monthly fees. That means our resources become your services. We will manage your web hosting issues, your technical questions, your website development, we will make your changes for you, we can suggest content and new content for your site. All for ONLY the cost of the management fee based on the size of your site.
Beating the "friend of a friend".
Let’s say you skip the qualified professionals and consultants that could build your site, instead you hire the “friend of a friend”. It's the cheapest way to go. Over time they do indeed build, fill and organize your whole site for a paltry $375. (That is cheap!). Miraculously they also agree to be available to you 7x24 and to manage your site for two years for free!! Happily you now signup to place the site on a cheap $20/month host. In the course of two years you will have saved about $9 over our full service solution. Yes, nine dollars. (Mention this paragraph and we’ll take $10 off your total cost.)
I’ve seen other places to get a website cheap.
Look closely and you will see only the prices are similar. This is not like having your contact information stamped on a “mega-all-services.com/your~name/” website, nor a “yell-ow-pages.com” ad site. We do not litter your site with any advertising -- on any page. Those places all want your customers to become theirs. In none of those solutions are you in control of the whole site or your visitors experience. To all appearances our site is yours alone.
